Instructions

To Log on for the First Time
- Dial 6100 or press the "message" key
- When prompted, enter your mailbox number (extension number) followed
by the # sign.
- Next, enter the default password which will be 77 plus your
extension number followed by the # sign.
- The system attendant will tell you that the temporary password has
expired and needs to be changed. She will tell you to press 84 to
change your password.
- To authorize the change she will ask you to enter your old password
followed by a # sign. Your old password will be 77 plus your
extension, followed by the # sign.
- You will be prompted to enter your new password followed by the
# sign. Your new password must be at least 4 digits and must be
unique. You cannot use a password such as 1234 or 5555. To
confirm your password you will be prompted to enter it again.
- The next time you log on, you will only need to enter your mailbox
number and password.
To Record Your Personal Greeting or Personal Verification
- Log into voice mail.
- Press 82.
- For External greeting, press 1.
- For Internal greeting, press 2.
- For Personal Verification, press 9
- For Temporary greeting, press 3 (only need to record for
out-of-office, vacations, etc.).
- Press 5 to begin recording.
- Press # to stop recording.
- Dial 2 to listen to your greeting. If you are unhappy with the
recording, press 76 to delete the current greeting, then press 5 to
re-record.
- Your greeting should be short but informative.
To Listen
- Log on to voice mail.
- As soon as you are logged in, the system will begin playing your
messages.
- You may dial 2 to replay the message.
- Dial 6 to go to the next message.
- Dial 76 to delete the message.
To Pick up Voice Mail from Off Campus
- Dial (918) 495-6100.
- Enter your mailbox number, followed by the # sign
- Enter your password, followed by the # sign.
To Forward Calls Directly to Voice Mail
On a multi-line phone.
- Press the "Forward" key (without lifting the handset)
- Enter 6100
- Press the "Forward" key again (Triangle will stay solid).
- To cancel press the "Forward" key (Triangle will disappear)
On a single line phone.
- Lift the handset and press #1 (you will hear 3 short beeps)
- Enter 6100 and hang up.
- To cancel, lift the handset and press #1
To Send a direct Message to Someone's Voice Mail
- Dial Express Messaging extension 6300.
- Enter the extension number where you want to leave a message
followed by a # sign.
- Leave message at tone.
